It’s been a hell of a year.

There has been turmoil, hope, and a deeper conversation about what really matters than ever before. This is the time of year when thoughts naturally turn toward we want to create going forward.

But how?

According to Buddhist thought, there are only six skills that you need to cultivate to bring more joy, peace, and bravery into the world. They are called the six paramitas (or transcendent actions):

Generosity

Discipline

Patience

Exertion

Meditation

Wisdom

The Open Heart Project has invited a collection of accomplished Buddhist teachers to teach us about these powerful actions, one each between December 26 – 31.

Each day at 3:00 p.m. EST, a different amazing teacher will lead a 45-minute session to explore one of the paramitas. We will start with generosity on December 26 and end with wisdom December 31. From Zen to Vipassana to Tibetan and other Buddhist lineages, you will hear teachings from a variety of perspectives. Each class will begin with an opening talk, followed by a guided meditation and a question and answer period. (You will be able to type your questions into a chat screen.)

You are invited to drop into one or all sessions. Each one will be recorded and accessible until the next session begins. Together, these wonderful teachers will help you enter 2018 with confidence.
