Hello, dear meditator,
I hope you are well! This week I continue answering your excellent questions. This one is from Anthony:
Susan, Can you provide any wisdom on loneliness and loss? I’ve lost my mother and my father is getting older. I don’t feel like there is anyone alive today that I can count on the way that I can count on my dad. Once he goes, I’ll be feeling truly alone in this world. That loneliness and the grief can be hard roads to navigate. I thought you might have some wisdom to share on the matter.
I’m sure that 100% of us can relate to this question. Before today’s video, I try to offer something of use. I knew I could not provide wisdom, but I could certainly offer my own experience with this most central of questions.
It was an honor and a privilege to try to offer something supportive to Anthony and to all of us who struggle with loneliness and loss (aka everyone). It never ceases to amaze me that it is actually possible to reach out to each other from the recesses of the internet and offer our warmth. If you want your Open Heart Project community to know what you are working with at this time in your life, please tell us in comments so that we may send our love.
With love, Susan
